Gaia Online Portrait 002 Carol

Here's -another- Gaia Online portrait I did. I would like to first state out I USED A REFERENCE. I did NOT draw this completely freehand. Well, okay. I -did-. But the entire time I was looking at a picture on the computer. The Gaia person wanted a pic of them and their pet, and so I used a pastel/watercolor looking image of Mylene Jenius from Macross 7 for my reference. Then I edited it and colored it and voila! Here it is. I really really like how the sky came out. I wish I could remember what brush I used for those clouds.. I also like how the doggies fur came out. I remember I used the smudge tool, but I used it in such a way that it came out cool instead of stupid. I wish I could have drawn this completely without the reference, but sometimes, ya just gotta have a little help..
